The paramotor and ADVANCE history are linked to each other.
Our most anciant souvenirs go back to the time of the ALPHA 1, in 1990,first model that we tested with an engine.
Since, all our models, from the 1st SIGMA, passing through all the versions of the OMEGA
and up to the new EPSILON 5, fly "grafted" with an engine.
ADVANCE and Ramon Morillas are paramotor World Champions in 2001 with the SIGMA 4
and in 2003 with the EPSILON 4.
Ramon has beaten in April 2005 his own altitude world record with 5395 m on Tenerifa island.
He also flies in comp?tition with an EPSILON 5.
THE ADVANCE WINGS - gliders for free flying and for paramotor !
Though ADVANCE paragliders have been developed for free flying,
they have always been appreciated by paramotorists for their performance and behaviour,
from the leisure pilot to the competition pilot.
In our actual range, it is the EPSILON 5 that answers the best to the use for leisure paramotor
and that’s why we chose this model for the DULV certification (Deutsche Ultraleichtflugverband).
When making its design manifest, we clearly defined that it should satisfy the free flying pilots
but also the paramotor pilots, thanks to its simplicity, ease of inflation, high stability,
solidity when flying, attractiveness, high level of speed and performances.
Our target has been reached and, in addition to the DHV (1-2) certification,
the EPSILON 5 is also DULV certified in the sizes 25, 28 and 31.
Paramotor risers EPSILON 5
ADVANCE has specially developed risers, which due to their design and function,
can be used for paramotoring and normal free flight.
The risers have also met the DHV certification requirements thanks to the simple attachment system
whereby the trimmer is connected to the main harness carabiner.
For paramotoring the trimmers assist in areas such as : allowing for compensation of the motors
torque rotation effect, optimising cruise speeds and light wind inflations.
In addition to this the EPSILON 5 paramotor risers also provide a conventional accelerator system
which provides considerable speed increase in normal flight.

The EPSILON 5 paramotor risers are designed with2 main attachment points.
These 2 positions provide hang pointswhich are 10 cms apart and allow perfect adaptation
to any paramotor configuration.
The lower position is also the standard for normal flight without the paramotor and guarantees all round conventional glider handling.
Important
The EPSILON 5 with paramotor risers is in its normal DHV certified state only when the trimmers are attached to the carabiner. The DULV certification for motorised flight in the sizes 25, 28 and 31 is with trimmers used and the foot accelerator inactive.
The paramotor risers were developed and certified for use with the Epsilon 5. They have not been tested or certified for any other model. The DULV approval is based on test flights influenced by motor weight and the DHV certification strength tests with regard to the wider take off weight ranges.
The required test flights were carried out using a commercially available paramotor (Walkerjet). Further motor models can be endorsed on request via the conduct of compatability and handling tests by the motor manufacturer or DULV.
