After the 4 tasks played in Nis in Serbia, Chrigel and Ewa won the 3rd competition of the 2005 PWC !
So Chrigel Maurer won his 2nd PWC competition this year,
after Bulgaria in April, and he his leading now the general ranking.
In the ladies, it is Ewa Wisnierska Cieslewicz who was the highest on the podium,
followed by Karin Appenzeller, both in the ADVANCE Team ;
they are now 1st and 3rd in the general female ranking.
1st task , Tuesday 5 July : 89 km, 76 pilots at goal.
3 Swiss pilots arrived together and won the task :
Chrigel Maurer, Michael Witschi (both in ADVANCE Team ) and Hans Bollinger (GIN) ;
they all got 1000 points.
2nd task , Thursday 7 July : 67 km, no pilote at goal.
Exploit of the day for the Greek pilot Slawomir Matras who won the task with his OMEGA 6, after 62,4 km !
3rd task , Friday 8 July : 95,6 km, no pilote at goal.
Exploit of the day for Karin Appenzeller (Team ADVANCE) who placed 3rd in this task general ranking,
ahead of her boyfriend Chrigel who secured his position by finishing 5th.
4rth and last task , Saturday 9 July : 51,7 km, 86 pilots at goal.
5th position again for Chrigel ;
his consistency payed as he passed 1st in the competition ranking as well as in the PWC general ranking.
